Hokitika

Earlier this month, KWC headed to Hokitika – the “Cool Little Town” – for a two-day fly-in fly-out subdivision project on a rural site.

The site itself had plenty of character, with quirky old cars scattered around and stunning views of snow-capped hills. More importantly, we were fortunate to find adequate and reliable old boundary pegs and witness marks, which provided a solid foundation to complete the Land Transfer survey efficiently.

This project was a real team effort. With technical support and planning from Steve Mills, logistics expertly handled by Bronwen Watson, field survey carried out by Bo Yi, and oversight by Sam Williams, everything came together smoothly.

Beyond the work, it was also a chance to enjoy another beautiful corner of this beautiful country. Bo took the opportunity to explore the town and Hokitika Gorge – an absolutely stunning spot.
