Annual Conference and 60th Anniversary of the Otago University School of Surveying

Great to have some of our team along to the Survey and Spatial New Zealand Annual Conference and 60th Anniversary of the Otago University School of Surveying earlier this month!

We had the opportunity to participate in a range of keynote sessions and workshops featuring some of the most skilled professionals in the country. A good chance to reconnect and talk all things surveying.

Michael says “A particularly interesting year that saw some great information presented on works to support disaster recovery, efforts towards diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and some of the most recent technological advancements in the industry.

Fantastic to be back in the academic homeland for most New Zealand surveyors (enabling a good deal of reminiscing!), and to be able to network and celebrate the achievements of surveyors around the country.

Also great to see the old KWC logo right in the center of the notice board! And after speaking to the Students Association it sounds like the KWC sponsored Lawn Bowls was a great hit!”
